Hello, I’m Mr. Chris, and I have the privilege of teaching English Language Arts at Wholesome Learning. My journey into teaching was inspired by an iconic figure from my childhood, Mr. Feeny from the TV show “Boy Meets World.” As a young student, Mr. Feeny embodied my ideal of what a perfect teacher should be – wise, understanding, and profoundly impactful. This character left such an indelible mark on me that it inspired my path into education, with the goal of being that transformative figure for others.
My teaching philosophy centers on the belief that education is fundamentally about building and fostering positive relationships. This includes engaging with all stakeholders in the educational process – parents, students, and the wider educational community. I firmly believe that a supportive and collaborative environment is the cornerstone of effective learning and teaching. In our ELA classroom, we’ll embark on a journey together, fostering a space where every voice is heard and valued, and where learning becomes a shared, enriching experience. Welcome to our ELA community, where we’ll explore the depths of literature and language together, building meaningful connections every step of the way.
